You might have guessed from my website that I ADORE colour so I was enchanted when Mary was excited to work with this gorgeous image as the main banner. Revisiting this project now, I am delighted to see that I love it just as much as when we first built it. It still looks exciting, professional and yet innovative – all of the thinks that Mary’s work entails!
Project Elements
Branding
This is an example of creating a simple text based brand. Just becuase I use the word simple, doesn’t mean less than. The fonts and colours we used are then extended throughout the website and social content to create a visually strong and professional brand.
Website Design
Despite having a very strong vision of her work and clients, Mary was constantly open to ideas when it came to colours and layouts. She was happy to try anything, remaining open minded and clear about what did and didn’t resonate. This is all I can ever ask for in a client. I love to see their face light up when something they had not considered before, feels just right. Done in one 4 hour session – this website shows that great website design doesn’t have to take months.
